June 14th is FLAG DAY.
Old Glory has not fared very well in the maritime sector, but World City America is working to change that unfortunate situation.
Only 8-9% of Americans with the means to cruise have taken a cruise. The future is wide open for claiming a share of that $40 billion-a-year U.S.-driven market for the American economy and domestic jobs.
Our part was to demonstrate that this important job-creating, tax revenue-generating opportunity can be seized at no cost to the taxpayer, without increasing the debt or deficit, and without incurring any unmanaged risk.
Washington's part is to reduce regulatory barriers to that objective and support policies that unleash the power of the private sector to create jobs and economic growth. The White House, and both Democrats and Republicans, have repeatedly assured us that job creation is a high priority but actions are lagging far behind words so far.
We contend that there is no bigger or better, contract-ready, private-sector developed, job-creating opportunity than the American Flagship project.
